Your Company Logo represents you and your business all in the blink of an eye. It's designshould be original and simple yet unique. A Logo can be as simple as a "single letter" or as complicated as a vectorized photograph. Below I've demostrated some of the steps to creating a logo from scratch, or rather "sketch".

Step by Step Process of Creating A Company Logo

Project: Tuskegee Airmen Buick Logo

Step1. Sketches of a panther.
Step 1. The Client has requested the theme, which in this case is a panther spitting fire, first step draw sketches.
Step2. Redraw specific idea.
Step 2. After a dozen or so sketches the client has found a favorite and request an elaboration, this is usually the step that defines the look of the logo.
Step3. Plan the creation.
Step 3. The Plan, defines what needs to be done to put the logo together; how many layers is it, what programs will be needed, how much time will it take? ect.
Step4. Draw each element.
Use a lightbox to see through multiple pages, or layers.
Step 4. Now that we know what needs to be done we do it, fleshing out the details of every aspect one layer at a time. Using a lightbox can help.
Step5. Clean the drawing so the scanner will register clean vector points.
Step 5. Each element or layer must be cleaned up for the vector process, this is a great opportunity to get client approval before the computer is brought into play.
Step6. Bring it all together for approval.
Step 6. We dont want to go any further without client approval, these are scanned drawings put together digitally to look like the logo.
Step7. Each pencil line has been vectorized. After hours of adjustments, behold the final product.
Step 7. The Vectorized process is complete here, Adobe Illustrator was used to convert scanned pencil lines into real vector shapes.
Step 8. Color that Logo, yeah.
Step 8. Pull out your digital crayons and get to vector painting, this logo is meant for heavy reproduction so there are no gradients or sfx that would sky rocket the cost of printing.
